We recently completed a VCT floor strip and wax project in Livonia, Michigan. At VICOR Floor Care, we specialize in professional VCT strip and wax services across Southeast Michigan, helping businesses and property owners restore the beauty, durability, and shine of their vinyl composition tile floors. This project highlights our proven process and the dramatic results we deliver for local businesses.
Vinyl Composition Tile Floor Restoration in Action
For this Livonia client, our team carried out a complete restoration of the VCT flooring. We began by removing all existing floor finish using commercial-grade stripping solutions and equipment. The floor was then thoroughly cleaned, neutralized, and prepared to ensure proper adhesion for the new finish.
Multiple coats of premium floor finish were applied to achieve a uniform appearance, enhance gloss, and provide long-lasting protection against wear, scuffing, and staining. The transformation was remarkable, as shown in the before and after images included on this page, leaving the space with a professional and refreshed look.

Why Choose VICOR for VCT Strip & Wax Service?
Maintaining vinyl composition tile is not a one-size-fits-all process. The right service at the right time makes all the difference in protecting your investment. At VICOR Floor Care, we bring a professional approach that focuses on preservation first and restoration only when necessary. This ensures your floors last longer, look better, and cost less to maintain over time.
Here’s why facilities across Southeast Michigan trust us:
- Expert Evaluation We know when a floor needs a full strip and wax versus a scrub and recoat or burnishing. Performing the wrong service too early or too late can shorten the life of your tile. Our team evaluates each floor carefully to recommend the most effective solution.
- Comprehensive Services From daily cleaning and deep cleaning to full restoration, we offer every level of VCT Floor care. This means your floors stay consistently protected and polished throughout the year.
- Durability and Safety Our methods not only restore shine but also densify and strengthen the finish, improving slip resistance and reducing wear in high-traffic areas.
- Cost Savings Over Time Proper maintenance extends the lifespan of VCT flooring to 30 years or more. By reducing the need for premature replacement, we help you protect your budget while keeping your facility looking professional.
- Proven Results Our before and after gallery of past projects show the dramatic difference expert care can make. Each project reflects our commitment to quality and long-term performance.
